Luxury recliners part of Carpentersville movie makeover

Cinema 12 Theatre in Carpentersville is in for a $1 million makeover, starting with the addition of new luxury recliners in its auditoriums. By next February, Bliss Zero lounge chairs will replace the old seating in all 12 of the theater's auditoriums. The new extra-wide, zero gravity recliners will contain armrests, a cup holder and two motors, so customers can adjust the footrest and the back recliner separately, said Classic Cinemas CEO Chris Johnson. Gliniewicz did 'whatever he wanted'

Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz was a poor manager who was never held accountable for his actions, Fox Lake's interim police chief said. Gliniewicz was found dead Sept. 1, in what was later determined to be a staged homicide. "He didn't really have any responsibilities," Keller said. Full story.

Duncan Keith zipped up and down the ice Wednesday at Johnny's Icehouse West, looking just like the Duncan Keith that Chicago Blackhawks fans have been accustomed to seeing over the past 10-plus seasons.
