Rodgers chosen to fill Palatine library board vacancy
The Palatine Public Library District Board of Library Trustees has appointed Daniel Rodgers to fill a vacancy on the board. Rodgers, a Palatine resident for nearly 30 years, was sworn in Thursday.
Rodgers currently serves on the board of directors for HandsOn Suburban Chicago and Lumity, two nonprofit organizations serving the area.
From August 2006 to May 2014, he was senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for Forsythe Technology, headquartered in Skokie. He has more than 25 years experience in management and senior management roles.
Rodgers holds a bachelor's degree from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, and a master's degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
He was chosen to fill the board vacancy from a field of nine applicants, and will serve until May 2017.
