Cookie Walk set for Dec. 5 at United Protestant Church of Grayslake

Looking for delicious cookies and sweets for holiday gifts and gatherings? Come to the 14th Annual Cookie Walk at the United Protestant Church of Grayslake from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, and stroll among tables to select from many varieties of homemade cookies and other treats for sale by the pound.

The festive event will be held in the lower level Fellowship Hall at the church, located at 54 S. Whitney Street, Grayslake. The Cookie Walk is being sponsored by the UPC Women's Christian Fellowship. Baker's Square pie cards will be on sale for $15 each. The cards make great gifts or can be used to supplement your holiday meals.

The United Protestant Church of Grayslake is affiliated with the United Church of Christ Fox Valley Association and the United Methodist Church Northern Illinois Conference. Worship services are held at 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, with Christian education for all ages at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays during the school year. The senior pastor is Rev. Gary Waters.
