Hanover Township accepting donations for annual toy drive
Hanover Township is accepting donations until Dec. 18 for the annual toy drive.
Last year's toy drive helped more than 305 families, and 2,162 children were able to receive gifts through the program.
Toys for any gender and age group up to 15 years old can be dropped off at any township office. Locations include 250 S. Rte. 59, Bartlett; 7431 Astor Ave., Hanover Park; 899 Jay St., Elgin; 1535 Burgundy Pkwy., Streamwood. All donations should be unwrapped.
"This is a great opportunity for individuals and community organizations that are able to drop off a toy or sponsor a family and bring a smile to many township youth," township Supervisor Brian McGuire said.
