Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast

½ stick of butter

6 ounces sliced beef

3 tablespoons flour

1 quart milk

Melt butter in pot over medium heat. Cut up beef and add to melted butter. Simmer for 10 minutes. Whisk flour into ¾ cup of milk. Add to the beef. Cook on low for 5 to 10 minutes. After the mixture begins to thicken, slowly add another cup of milk. Stir until creamy. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Serve over toast.
