Join discussion on affordable housing issues

The Fox River Valley Initiative will host a Fall Assembly at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Congregational Church of Batavia, 21 S. Batavia Ave.

This meeting will focus on expanding access to affordable housing, as well as crisis intervention training, the creation of a post-incarceration re-entry program for those with mental illness, and other diversion programs.

Fox River Valley Initiative is a broad-based group of nonpartisan, everyday citizens dedicated to resolving pressing social problems facing families and communities in the Fox River Valley. It works with DuPage United for organizer support, leadership development, relationships, and regional strategy. Visit www.dupageunited.org/fox/.
