Boys soccer: Marmion blanks St. Rita

Marmion 4, St. Rita 0: Nick Grant scored 3 goals and Quinn Turcich added the other to lead the Cadets (9-5-3, 4-2-1) to a Chicago Catholic League win. Danny Galush made 4 saves in goal for his 10th shutout of the season.

Marengo 2, Burlington Central 1: Jack Schramme scored off an assist from Enrique Garcia for the Rockets' only goal in this Big Northern East loss. Ryan Fitzgerald had 3 saves in goal for BC (9-9-1, 8-4-0).

Hampshire 5, Grayslake Central 1: Michael Boutin, Braeden Frenette, Jack Fairwood, Tyler Fairwood and Parker Bishop scored goals and Jason Polletta had 5 saves in goal for Hampshire (11-7-1, 4-2) in its Fox Valley Conference Fox Division win.

U-High 7, Elgin Academy 3: Elliott Wittmeyer, Drew Wilmington and Julian Romano scored for the Hilltoppers (6-6-1) in the Independent School League.

Larkin 2, Bartlett 1: In an Upstate Eight crossover, Abel Saenz and Randy Rodriguez scored for Larkin, both goals coming in the second half. Eleno Montes made 4 saves in goal for the Royals. Patrick Cox scored for Barlett and Jake Hasenstein made 8 saves in goal.
