GreenFields of Geneva names new managers
GreenFields of Geneva is pleased to announce that two management appointments. Casey Pudwill has been named administrator of Briarwood Healthcare Center, and Ron Hart has been named director of building operations.
Pudwill began his career in 1998 as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at Greenfields of Geneva's sister community, Friendship Village of Schaumburg. This was part of a work/study program at Streamwood High School. He continued in that capacity while attending the University of Illinois in Chicago. "Although I earned my degree in criminal justice, I realized that working as a CNA with seniors was what I was passionate about, so it was that career path that I pursued," said Pudwill. In 2008 he was promoted to manager of the dementia services program at Friendship Village, and in 2012 was again promoted to assistant administrator. Earlier this year, Pudwill was named interim administrator for Briarwood Healthcare Center at GreenFields.
"Our recruiting efforts for the administrator position identified several strong candidates. It is rewarding to see that the best qualified among them was here, in our own backyard. We are please to witness Casey's continuing professional growth over his many years of service, and are excited about his future contributions to GreenFields and FSO's success as he assumes his new responsibilities," said Stephen Yenchek, president and CEO of Friendship Senior Options, which sponsors GreenFields and Friendship Village.
Ron Hart has had a career in senior living for more than 22 years. Having owned his own construction company, he said that he was recruited into working in an upscale retirement community. "I liked it. I found that I enjoyed working with seniors and getting to know about their lives. It seemed to be a good fit, and it stuck with me," he said.
Hart joined Friendship Village in 2007, working as the assistant building manager. In June of this year, he was promoted to interim director of building operations at GreenFields, and in July, he was offered the permanent position. "Ron has distinguished himself in this capacity and is well on his way to building a solid productive relationship with GreenFields residents and associates," said Yenchek.
