Glenbard Parent Series Spanish to present Stress Management Techniques

The Glenbard Parent Series: (GPS) Spanish will present Stress Management Techniques with Glenbard East High School school psychologist Mariana Proske on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Stress is the body's natural reaction to change and challenges, but too much of it can be overwhelming to our physical and emotional well-being. Stress affects each of us differently. We might experience feelings such as frustration, sadness, anger and anxiety. Physical reactions like fast heartbeat, sweating, headaches, or stomachaches can occur as well. Losing sleep worrying about tests and schoolwork? You're not alone. There are ways to minimize stress and manage the stress that's unavoidable.

Join us and learn healthy habits to develop your own action plan to manage and embrace stress. This free GPS event presented in Spanish will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 21 in the library at Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St. Lombard.
