Off-price apparel retailer Ross opens in Palatine on Oct. 10

Ross Dress For Less will open its newest stores in Palatine and Joliet on Saturday, Oct. 10.

Ross, a nationwide off-price apparel and home fashion chain, will be located in the Deer Grove Centre, 749 E. Dundee Road in Palatine.

Store hours will be: 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Sundays, 9:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays; and 9 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

The chain has 1,200 stores nationwide. The new Joliet store is in the Joliet Commons shopping center, 2805 Plainfield Road.

As part of the grand opening ceremonies the new Palatine Ross Dress for Less store will donate $2,500 to the Palatine Public Library District.

Additionally, each new store will give away $1,000 in Ross Dress for Less gift cards. From Oct. 10 to Oct. 18, customers may enter in-store for a chance to win a $500 shopping spree or one of five $100 shopping sprees.
