McFun for Aurora Christian School

On Thursday, Oct. 1, Aurora Christian Schools held a McTeacher's Night at the North Aurora McDonald's to raise money for toys for the preschool playroom.

Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money. The Aurora Christian families all came to support their McTeacher Night's fundraiser and the night was a huge success. The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, a very hard working principal Scott Etchison cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, teachers clearing tables, and teachers making ice cream and shakes.

School Superintendent House also worked very hard at McTeacher's Night and supported the teachers and families. The teachers working included the following: Linda Behrens, Jessica Lindsay, Karen Schien, Sue Herbert, Martha Schoeberlein, Priscilla Talley, Collette House, Superintendent of schools, Karin Greenawalt, Dorie Post, Connie Velasquez, Deb McKinney, Pris Copple, Janine Tagnarelli, "McPrincipal" Etchison, Michele Soulsby, Admissions Coordinator and Naomi. A special appearance by Ronald McDonald made the evening extra special. A very special thank you goes out to Admissions Coordinator Michele Soulsby who organized the entire event.

McTeacher's Night was courtesy of the North Aurora McDonald's owner/operators, the Lardas family.
