Check out the many large-scale Lego sculptures on display and get some ideas for your own creations at Brickfest Live! this weekend at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. Oktoberfest at the Settlement

Autumn at the zoo

Take the kids or grandkids to Wheaton's Cosley Zoo, 1356 N. Gary Ave., for its annual Pumpkin Fest. Kids can play in a straw pyramid and cornstalk tunnel as well as visit the zoo's animals. Symphonic start
