Girls volleyball: Crystal Lake South tops Dundee-Crown

CL South d. Dundee-Crown: Kendall Kilberger had a mammoth game with 17 kills and 17 digs while Jordan Proszenyak added 9 kills and 17 digs to lead the Gators (9-7, 5-2) to a 21-25, 25-19, 25-22 Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win. Emily Slimko added 25 assists and 10 digs for Crystal Lake South and Hannah Koenig had 5 blocks. Bre Novak (8 kills, 7 digs), Emma Brant (6 kills, 7 digs, 4 blocks), Paige Gieske (5 kills), Ashley Raby (5 kills), Frankie Cavallaro (5 kills, 14 assists, 5 digs) and Gina Pagano (7 digs) led Dundee-Crown (14-5, 3-3).

St. Edward d. ACC: In the Metro Suburban West, Dominique Washington had 8 kills and 7 digs as St. Edward (10-5, 5-3) won 25-18, 25-18. Erin Kremer added 4 kills for the Green Wave and Gabriella Tripicchio had 14 assists.

Neuqua Valley d. St. Charles East: Klaudia Sowizral and Avery Macklin had 8 kills each but the Saints fell in nonconference action 24-26, 25-14, 25-17. Riley Schumacher added 7 kills for SCE (15-6), while Amanda Davidson had 11 digs, Alexis Jett 9 digs and Morgan Kull 8 digs.

Glenbard North d. Larkin: Sam Wahl had 8 kills and April McGhee 11 digs for Larkin in a 25-22, 29-27 nonconference loss. Natalie Kofie added 9 digs and 15 assists for the Royals.

Harvest Christian d. Alden-Hebron: Amanda Cassidy had 5 kills, Candis Kaplan 12 digs and 4 aces and Hannah Murray 9 digs and 6 aces to lead the Lions (11-9, 6-0) to a 25-8, 25-9 Northeastern Athletic Conference win. Hannah Griffith added 3 blocks for Harvest.

Huntley d. Jacobs: Erin Erb had 11 kills while Alyson Dion added 8 kills and 15 digs to lead the Red Raiders (9-6, 3-3) to a 25-23, 22-25, 25-20 FVC Valley win.

Burlington Central d. Richmond-Burton: Summer Smith (7 kills, 5 aces), Leah Murphy (7 kills), Lexi DeWaard (29 assists, 5 aces) and Lexi VanHiel (6 kills, 3 block kills) led the Rockets (16-3, 8-0) to a 25-21, 16-25, 25-13 Big Northern East win. Megan Lomas (5 kills) and Kendall Boron (4 kills, 2 block kills) also contributed for BC.

IMSA d. Westminster Christian: Emily Lamp had 3 kills, 4 assists and 2 aces for the Warriors (3-19, 1-6) in a 25-21, 25-11 NAC loss.

West Chicago d. Streamwood: Ashley Rothenberg (6 kills, 3 blocks), Jessica Daley (15 digs), Paula Koszyk (4 kills) and Alexsis Wilson (16 digs) led Streamwood (0-18, 0-4) in a 25-15, 25-18 Upstate Eight crossover loss.

Hampshire d. Woodstock North: Louie Peralta had 8 kills, Allie Peters 8 digs and Hannah Dalby 7 digs and 13 assists to lead the Whip-Purs to a 25-17, 28-26 FVC Fox win.
