Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery gained 1.50 cents to $5.0720 a bushel; December corn was .50 cent higher at $3.8720 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at 2.2920 a bushel; while November soybeans higher 3 cents to 8.7960 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was 2.23 cents lower at $1.3493 a pound; November feeder cattle was 3.45 cents lower at $1.7800 a pound; December lean hogs gained .53 cent to $.6628 a pound.
