Cook County Rabies Clinic at Schaumburg Township Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015

Schaumburg Township Clerk Timothy M. Heneghan and Highway Commissioner Scott M. Kegarise and Cook County Commissioner (15th District) Timothy O. Schneider are partnering with the Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control to bring the rabies clinic to Schaumburg Township Wednesday, Sept. 30, 10:45 a.m. - 2 p.m. The clinic will be held in the highway department garage and provides affordable rabies vaccinations to all dogs, cats and ferrets that are at least three months old for Cook County residents. The cost is $7 for a 1-year rabies vaccine and $21 for a 3-year rabies vaccine.

Payment is cash or check only; credit and debit cards are not accepted. Mobile clinic services are on a first come, first served basis. No appointment is necessary. Pet owners must present a valid driver's license or state ID. For public safety, all pets must be either on a leash or in a cage at all times.
