Buffalo Grove renames board room for Jeffrey Braiman
The Buffalo Grove village board's chambers were officially dedicated on Monday as the Jeffrey S. Braiman Council Chambers, in honor of the former village president and longtime trustee.
Surrounded by family, Braiman spoke about his many years of service, saying that, like most of the people he has worked with on the dais at village hall, "You don't do it for recognition. You do it because it's the right thing to do. You do it because you want to impact the community and make the community better."
Still, he said it is nice to get recognition, adding that it meant a lot to see his name at the entrance.
