It's Rauner vs. the working class

Gov. Rauner has made it "perfectly clear" that low hourly wage earners are just fine.

Reference his minimum wage plan, program for childcare subsides and assault on every union. The governor has made it "perfectly clear" that he will gut the benefits of anyone not part of his pro-big business agenda. (The two sides of the mouth speak would attempt to woo small businesses into believing his programs assists them - the same small-business support approach Home Depot touts as they gobble up every independently owned lumber yard and hardware store.)

Paddock Publications is a "for profit" business. The publication purports to report news to all residents. News implies facts as they occurred. The editorial page is the place of opinions. The journalists' opinions should not be visible in news stories. The Daily Herald struggles with that distinction.

The governor has made it "perfectly clear" that he will gut the bloated salaries and benefits of every union member in Illinois, should he have the opportunity. Fifty-nine percent of the people in America are hourly wage earners. Given the opportunity, "turn around Illinois" would decrease the benefits for six out of 10 families in Illinois.

Every seventh family in Illinois is living in poverty today.

Fact: Barrington School District Custodians are witness to the exact experience Rauner has detailed repeatedly.

Hey hourly folks at the Herald; see the hand writing. As fewer hourly folks can afford to pay for your opinions, your value could be reduced to poverty level too. I'm just sayin.'
