Oct. 22: CLC hosts Illinois Regional College Fair

How can high school students and their parents learn about nearly 150 colleges and universities in just one location? The Illinois Regional College Fair, hosted by the College of Lake County from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, is a great place for families to begin or continue the college search process.

The fair will be held in the Physical Education Center, Building 7, on the CLC Grayslake campus. Parking is available in lots 2 or 3, on the north side of the CLC campus, closest to the Washington Street and Lancer Lane entrance, 19351 W. Washington St.

College financial aid information sessions, presented by staff from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, will be held in room 706 of the Physical Education Center from 6:30-7 p.m. and 7:15-7:45 p.m.

The event is being sponsored by the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling and is intended for high school juniors and seniors and their parents. Representatives from colleges and universities in Illinois and across the United States will provide information about admission to their institutions. The armed forces also will be represented.
