Vehicle strikes, kills woman in Wheaton
Police are investigating the death of a 60-year-old woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle at a busy Wheaton intersection Wednesday night.
The fatality occurred before 8 p.m. at Butterfield and Naperville roads, according to a news release. Officials from the DuPage County Coroner's Office pronounced the woman dead at the scene at 8:20 p.m.
No additional information was available Thursday afternoon, police said, pending notification of the victim's family.
