Some Cook County voters will have new polling places in 2016

Cook County Clerk David Orr announced Thursday that his office was eliminating 74 precincts ahead of the upcoming 2016 presidential primary election in March.

Most affected voters will still cast ballots at the same location, but a few in Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove and Prospect Heights will be assigned new polling places, officials said.

All voters will be mailed notifications of any changes, a spokesman said.
