Learn how to pay less for college

Trinity International University will host U.S. Rep. Robert Dold (IL-10) for an evening discussion of "How to Pay Less for College" Monday, Sept. 21, from 6-7:30 p.m. in Melton Hall on Trinity's Deerfield campus, 2065 Half Day Road.

Dold will initiate this discussion on the topics of financial aid, college credit, community college, planning for college, best practices and more.

Prospective college students and their parents are encouraged to attend to get equipped with tools and strategies that can help make college more affordable.

A panel of financial aid professionals from several local colleges will present and answer questions on these topics. Panelists include Rachel Russiaky of Trinity International University, Phil Burdick of Harper College, and Lora Georgieva of Destination College.

Following the panel presentations and a time for questions and answers.
