Fundraiser supports Palatine Twp. Senior Center

The Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council will host Get Wild About Girls Night Out fundraiser for ages 21 and older from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday Sept. 24, at Durty Nellie's, 180 N Smith, Palatine, to benefit the Palatine Township Senior Center

Tickets are $20 each or $18 each for five or more; $25 at the door. Tickets entitle you to one beverage, hors d'oeuvres, dessert, free photo booth, free pampering stations, door prize ticket and goody bag. Goody bags are available to the first 250 ladies.

Back by popular demand is a $10 Cork Pull raffle, where everyone wins a bottle of wine or champagne valued at $10 or more. You pick the cork and receive the bottle that corresponds with the number. You are guaranteed to get a bottle worth at least $10, but you could potentially win a bottle worth a lot more.

Also, enjoy a live DJ, free photo booth and raffles. Tickets are available online at www.ptscc.org, at Durty Nellie's and at the Palatine Township Senior Center, 505 S. Quentin Road, Palatine.

Hors d'oeuvres are provided by Durty Nellie's and the dessert will be made fresh by Nothing Bundt Cakes. Pampering stations include chair massages by Deignan Family Chiropractic, mini-manicures by Mario Tricoci Salon and Spa, and makeup by Phyllis Benstein with Mary Kay.

PTSCC provides programs and services that support older adults and their families by encouraging independence, well-being and connection to the community.

Recreation, Education, Health and Wellness, Noon Dining, Home Delivered Meals, Adult Day Care, and Social Services programs are available to persons 50 and older and their families who live in Palatine Township and the surrounding communities in the North and Northwest suburbs.

Services are available in English, Spanish and Russian at six satellite locations. The Social Services staff also makes home visits as needed.
