Carmel must stop potent Joliet Catholic rushing attack

Last week: Carmel lost to Chicago Phillips, 41-7; Joliet Catholic def. Wheaton North, 34-14.

Skinny: Carmel was tormented last week by the potent rushing attack of Phillips, which rolled up 400 rushing yards. Joliet Catholic has its own stable of dangerous running backs, starting with Michael Johnson, who rolled up 242 yards on 23 carries last week in the Hilltoppers' win over Wheaton North. He had 180 yards in the first half alone. Carmel will be looking to get explosive running back Rondel Jamison going. He was held to just 48 rushing yards last week.
