LEGACY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CHILDREN OF MILITARY PERSONNEL KILLED ON ACTIVE DUTY

Naperville Legion and Legion Riders donated $2200 to the Legacy Fund during the recent American Legion National Convention in Baltimore. The Legacy Fund provides scholarships to children of active duty military personnel who lost their life on or after September 11, 2001. Its major fund raiser is a motorcycle ride from the Legion's National Headquarters in Indianapolis to the convention. This year's ride, attended by seven from Naperville Legion Riders Chapter 43, raised $1.2 million. Those wishing to contribute can mail checks to Chapter 43, Legion Riders, PO Box 4, Naperville, IL 60566. Note "Legacy Fund donation" on the check.
