The Fox Valley Beaux Arts will celebrate its 32nd anniversary as a community arts organization by hosting a style show/luncheon to raise funds for fine arts scholarships.
"Under the Tuscan Sun" is the theme of the Fox Valley Beaux Arts Scholarship luncheon to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Elgin Country Club, 2575 Weld Road, Elgin. It will begin with a social hour, including silent auction, raffles and vendors, at 11 a.m., with the luncheon and fashion show at 12:30 p.m.
Beaux Arts will offer raffles, a silent auction, vendors and a style show/luncheon, with fashions by White House Black Market and Chico's, both located in Geneva Commons.
All friends of the arts are welcome to attend an enjoyable fall afternoon of fine arts, fun and fashion.
Beaux Arts has maintained a philanthropic profile in the arts for over three decades, offering scholarships to area students in the fine arts, as well as supporting Independent Players theater group in Elgin.
Last year's event awarded 10 scholarships to high school seniors in the Fox Valley area.
Tickets are $40 for the luncheon or $60 including luncheon and 11 raffle tickets, with proceeds supporting scholarships.
Reservations are due by Thursday, Sept. 10.
