Leclair named CEO of 360 Youth Services

Katy Leclair of Naperville has been named the new chief executive officer of 360 Youth Services.

Leclair joins the organization with a passion for the mission of 360, combined with a leadership background devoted to youth and families.

Her career experience includes executive director positions providing leadership for board administration, fundraising and grant compliance, strategic planning and human resource talent management. Since 2013, she has been the senior vice president/chief operating officer at the Greater Joliet Area YMCA, managing four YMCAs with 43 full-time and 350 part-time employees.

While there, revenue has increased by nearly 20 percent and this year she is managing a budget of roughly $8 million.

Leclair's commitment to empowering youth led her to 360 Youth Services, where she will begin work on Oct. 5.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to lead 360 Youth Services," Leclair said. "I look forward to working side-by-side with our staff team, volunteers and supporters to assess how we can best serve young people while continuing vital services in prevention education, counseling and housing.

"I am eager to participate in the communitywide effort needed to ensure that all young people have the support they need to reach their full potential."

"Katy brings a great mix of leadership, inspiration, operational experience and a passion for serving," said John Norman, board president of 360 Youth Services.

"I look forward to serving alongside Katy and focusing on our vision to equip all of our youth with the necessary skills to successfully navigate life's challenges."

Prior to Leclair's current position, she served as executive director of the Lakeview and West Communities YMCAs. There, she led the center through more than $1.5 million of facility renovations. She also supervised staff responsible for managing a 198 single-room occupancy facility for men.

Leclair held other leadership positions in Kankakee and Miami, Florida. Early in her career, she worked at the Kroehler Family YMCA in Naperville as aquatics director. During that time, she graduated from the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.

Leclair earned a bachelor of business administration degree at Webster University, a juris doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and is completing a master of business administration degree at Webster University. She was a gifted two-sport athlete participating in softball and swimming, which resulted in a full undergraduate scholarship.

Leclair resides in Naperville with her husband, Steve, and son, Austin.
