Genesee to spotlight a cappella groups at November concert
If you love the “Pitch Perfect” films, then check out Genesee Theatre's Awakenings series, which shines a spotlight on Illinois bands, including a cappella singers.
The next concert focuses entirely on area a cappella singing groups such as Gentleman's Rule, The Other Guys and No Comment. The Awakenings concert is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at 203 N. Genesee St., Waukegan.
