To that end, Kim has added a melt-in-your mouth whiskey-soaked (braised for 12 hours) Reuben sandwich as a blue plate special that has been selling so well it may be added to the regular menu under the name, "Whiskey and Rye." It has his own-made sauerkraut and whisky-infused caraway seeds, melted Swiss cheese, and tangy 1000 island dressing. Kim also is considering adding specials to the already popular menu, such as a ribeye steak with balsamic marinated grilled vegetables (Portobello mushrooms, red bell peppers, asparagus, and yellow squash), buttermilk fried onions, and roasted fingerling potatoes with lemon zest and fresh herbs.
