Adults can learn improv at Geneva Park District class

If you've seen "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" you know improv can be hilarious, but secretly it's about more than comedy.

Improvisation helps build confidence, public speaking techniques, social skills, and more. Best of all, anyone can do it, even without any acting experience.

The Geneva Park District's Playhouse 38 is offering an Adult Improv Class. Let them show you the "yes, and" approach to life by joining them in a fun and completely nonjudgmental, creative environment.

Classes for adults 18 or older will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 17-Dec. 10, except Nov. 26, at the playhouse, 524 W. State St., lower level. Registration is $110 for residents and $130 for nonresidents.
