Batavia's Dream Team to host Harlem Ambassadors Basketball Team

Hoops and high jinks are coming to Batavia on Sunday, Oct. 11 when our very own local challengers, the "Batavia Dream Team," take on the Harlem Ambassadors in a comedy basketball show the whole family will enjoy. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Batavia High School gymnasium.

The Harlem Ambassadors offer a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball, featuring highflying slam dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks, hilarious comedy routines, music, dancing and games for the kids. The Ambassadors also deliver a positive message for kids wherever the team plays.

"We scoured the area to put together a Dream Team to take on the Ambassadors," says Lisa Farley, Batavia Bulldog Boosters board member. "Come and cheer on our enthusiastic local talent! It will be a night filled with laughter, comedy, and slam dunks - all to benefit the local community."

Proceeds from the event benefit the Batavia Bulldog Boosters and Batavia United Way and will be used for Batavia Unit District 101 student athletes and local families in need.

Tickets for the Sunday, Oct. 11 game at Batavia High School are now on sale at BataviaBulldogBoosters.org. Advance tickets for students are $5, adults $8, children, 4 and younger, are free. Don't miss out! Buy your tickets today!
