College of DuPage Hosts Open House on Sept. 16

College of DuPage will host an Open House from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the College's main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

This event is free and open to the public.

This session is aimed at prospective students and community members. Attendees will learn about educational opportunities and resources available at College of DuPage. In addition, presentations throughout the evening will cover topics such as admissions and financial aid, resources for adult learners, as well as the College's many available health care programs, the innovative 3 + 1 bachelor's degree programs, Culinary and Hospitality, and Engineering Pathways - an educational route to guaranteed admission to the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign.

Tours of the campus will also be provided, and representatives from faculty, student services, and student clubs and organizations will be on hand to answer questions.

The Open House presentations will include:

• Admissions and Information

6 to 6:30 p.m., Student Resource Center, Room 2000.

• Culinary and Hospitality Program

6:40 to 7 p.m., Student Resource Center, Room 2000. Presentation is followed by a tour of the Culinary and Hospitality Center at 7 p.m.

• Health Sciences Program

7 to 7:30 p.m., Health and Science Center. Health Science representatives will be available for questions in the center from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

• Adult Student Information

7 to 7:30 p.m., Student Services Center.

• 3+1 Transfer Program

7:45 to 8:15 p.m., Student Services Center.

• Engineering Pathways

7:45 to 8:15 p.m., Student Services Center.
