Donald to host First Tee benefit at BMW

Luke Donald will host the annual Taste of The First Tee, a wine tasting to benefit The First Tee of Greater Chicago, on Monday, Sept. 14, at Conway Farms Golf Club during the BMW Championship.

The benefit with Donald, a former No. 1-ranked pro golfer who played at Northwestern, will feature a gourmet wine tasting of more than 50 exclusive wines from Terlato Wine Group's global portfolio, including the wines of the Luke Donald Collection paired with exquisite foods. The Luke Donald chardonnay, claret and viognier wines have been recognized for their food friendly appeal, reflecting Donald's passion for fine wine and food.

In addition, Golf Channel "Morning Drive" co-hosts Gary Williams and Cara Robinson will join Donald and special guests Keegan Bradley and Rickie Fowler in a "Golf Talk" Q&A discussion to give attendees a behind-the-scenes perspective on the world of golf. Guests are subject to change based on qualifying for the BMW Championship.

The evening will also feature auction items such as signed sports memorabilia, golf experiences, including golf with Donald and much more. Sponsors of the evening will have a special opportunity to attend a golf clinic hosted by Donald and enjoy a day of golf before the evening reception and dinner.

All proceeds raised at the event will benefit The First Tee of Greater Chicago and its golf and character education programs for young people. A limited number of sponsorships and tickets are available and can be purchased online through The First Tee of Greater Chicago's site at thefirstteegreaterchicago.org or by calling (847) 729-9833 ext. 103.
