Dundee Lions donate to the Association for Individual Development

The Dundee Township Lions Club donated recent profits from their concessions at "Concerts in the Park" to the Association for Individual Development.

Lions president Jim McClung gave Lynn O'Shea, AID president, a check for $500. O'Shea stated there is a fund matching the donation and will turn the Lions contribution into $1,000. McClung and Gene Tester of the Dundee Township Lions met some of the clients and toured the workshop.

The AID Elgin workshop program assists many individuals in the Dundee Township area with developmental disabilities. They provide training, sheltered employment and assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining community employment. McClung said the Lions are very appreciative of the generosity of the community this summer at the concerts.
