Lake County candidate packets available through Nov. 30

Established political party candidates in Lake County who wish to appear on the March 2016 General Primary Election ballot may download petition packets from the clerk's website, LakeCandidatePower.info, or visit the clerk's office for paper copies until Nov. 30, 2015. Circulation period runs from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30. Lake County offices to be nominated in the primary include Circuit Clerk, Coroner, Recorder, State's Attorney, County Board Members Districts 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, and 21, and North Shore Water Reclamation Districts 1, 2, and 4. Precinct Committeemen for the two major political parties and City of Lake Forest Aldermen will be elected at the General Primary Election. Petitions may be filed from Nov. 23 through Nov. 30 with the Lake County Clerk during normal office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
