Yeah that's my head popping out of the top of the frame. I was searching the area for a picture for page three and was having a devil of a time finding something. I had it in my mind to get a picture of someone silhouetted against the beautiful fluffy clouds playing basketball. Well I ended up finding something else, but while I was looking I accidentally made this frame with my 14mm lens while checking the exposure. I think that it's sort of funny. Maybe you will too.   As a newspaper photojournalist we cover more festivals than we can count. So when I arrive at a fest I try to look past the "obvious" images as much as possible, searching for a slightly different angle. In this image I had noticed that from some perspectives it appears that the riders of the "Speed" ride could almost reach out with their feet and touch the ferris wheel during the annual Glendale Heights Fest.
