Trains on move again after power lines shut down tracks in Rosemont

Trains on the Metra North Central Service line are on the move again after being stopped because of power lines laying across the tracks in Rosemont, officials said.

Train 105, scheduled to arrive in Antioch at 2:35 p.m., was stopped in the Rosemont area at about 1:55 p.m., as ComEd crews were working to resolve the problem, said Meg Reile, a Metra spokeswoman.

By 2:15 p.m., the train was moving again, but delayed about 40 minutes off its normal schedule.
