Learn how to avoid utility scams at clinic

The Citizens Utility Board and state Rep. Marty Moylan will host a utility bill clinic at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, where bills can be analyzed and residents will learn to avoid utility bill scams. The event is at St. Stephen's Protomartyr Church, 1280 Prospect Ave. in Des Plaines. Residents can bring their gas, phone and electric bills for a free one-on-one analysis by CUB experts, who will provide advice in both English and Spanish. For details, call (847) 635-6821.
