Netanyahu shouldn't set U.S. policy

Am I missing something? Has Benjamin Netanyahu ever run for, or been elected to, an office in the United States? Has he been appointed to any post whereby what his opinions are on the direction of American foreign policy should be given any specific due?

Holding office or post in our government has a quid pro quo: responsibility and accountability to the American people. This is a man who intentionally lied and misled his own people while campaigning for office in his own country.

He has played the guilt and fear card; he has played the only-democracy-in-the-Middle East card, and manipulated us over and over again with these stratagems. All the while he has led the land grab and the squeeze of the Palestinian people heedless of how this undermines any honor or respect he might be afforded.

And he is the "elephant in the room" on the Iran Deal - same tactics, same cards. Wake up, America.
