Chateau Ste. Michelle's Riesling track record attracted the attention of Ernst Loosen, considered one of Germany's finest producers, who applied his family's 200 years of winegrowing expertise to Yakima Valley vineyards. Named "Eroica" after Beethoven's Third Symphony, the wine often reaches heroic levels of enjoyment, combining juice-dripping mango and citrus flavors, palate-caressing texture and a cool smack of acidity, consistently at the top of annual "best of" lists since its inception in 1999. From July 17-19, 2016, Ste. Michelle and the Loosen Estate host the fifth annual Riesling Rendezvous at Chateau Ste. Michelle and Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle. Registration for the three-day event will begin in January at rieslingrendezvous.com. For more information, visit www.ste-michelle.com.
