Lake County wants your input on stormwater management

Lake County officials will host an open house meeting about the county's long-term stormwater management plans Wednesday and want input from the public.

According to Mike Novotney from the county Stormwater Management Commission, the meeting will be lighter on presentations from officials and heavier on group discussion. County residents with stormwater issues are encouraged to attend and share their experiences.

The meeting comes as the stormwater commission works to update its comprehensive plan. Ideas and feedback from the public are a critical component, according to the county.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the North Barrington village hall, 111 Old Barrington Road.
