Take a walk at Lakewood Forest Preserve, seniors
Senior citizens can take a free, guided walk through the Lakewood Forest Preserve near Wauconda on Sept. 2. Participants will explore some of the site's natural habitats. It will begin at 9 a.m. at the winter sports area at Lakewood, which is on Route 176 west of Fairfield Road. Registration isn't required.
