Barb's Precious Rescue, Palatine: Major Adoption Event on Saturday

Barb's Precious Rescue and Adoption Center, Palatine, will be joining NBC and Telemundo as they host "Clear the Shelters" this Saturday, August 15th. More than 30 Chicago-area shelters will waive adoption fees in the hopes of finding homes for their furry residents. The goal of Clear the Shelters is to find a loving "forever home" for as many pets as possible. Adoption events also help shelters find relief from overcrowding and help them eliminate the need to turn animals away. Hours for the event are 9 AM to 4 PM. All normal adoption application processes apply. Barb's currently has a great selection of cats of every age and breed, from kittens to senior cats. Barb's is located at 313 N.
