River Trails Park District turns 50
The River Trails Park District celebrated its 50th anniversary Saturday evening at Woodland Trails Park, 1500 E. Euclid Ave., Mount Prospect.
The event include a ceremony with local officials, a tree-planting, burying a time capsule, a movie and music by a local band.
