Tee off at GLMV Chamber golf outing
The Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Outing will be from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Hawthorn Woods Country Club, 1 Tournament Drive, Hawthorn Woods, a private Arnold Palmer Signature course.
Business and community leaders can enjoy a day of 18 holes of golf, food, beverages, networking and a few surprises. Golfers begin the day with driving range practice and lunch, with a shotgun start at noon.
After golf, head back into the clubhouse for a cocktail reception and buffet dinner. Additional features include raffles and contests, including a chance to win a two-night weekend stay at the newly renovated Renaissance by Marriott Downtown Chicago Hotel, gift cards and other prizes donated by local businesses.
All skill levels are welcome. The event is sponsored by Express Employment Professionals. Those who don't golf can join in for cocktails/dinner only.
