Arlington Heights Park District marks 90th birthday with 90 things to do

In honor of its 90th birthday this year, the Arlington Heights Park District has created a list of 90 fun things to do around the village.

The park district published the list this month as part of its celebration of National Park and Recreation Month. Some are events, such as enjoying the 25th annual Holiday Tree Lighting in North School Park on the Friday after Thanksgiving, while others can be done anytime, like a photography tour around town or taking a veteran to visit Memorial Park.

Star gaze from the top of Nichol Knoll Golf Course, play tennis under the lights at Forest View, do yoga at a local park and canoe on Lake Arlington also make the list.
