District 73 residency event
All families with children returning to Hawthorn Elementary District 73 schools in August must attend the district residency event at Hawthorn Middle School North, 201 Hawthorn Parkway, Vernon Hills, on one of the following days to show proof of residency: noon to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, or Thursday, Aug. 6; or 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10. Parents whose children are new to the district, including parents of incoming kindergartners, need not attend the residency event. Three documents, including a photo identification are required.
