'Golfing for Good' outing raises $27,000

On June 8, Lazarus House and St. Charles Kiwanis Foundation hosted their annual "Golfing for Good" event to raise money equally for both charity organizations.

Held at Royal Fox Country Club, 82 golfers and an additional 45 dinner guests participated. They raised $27,000.

Money was raised through sponsorships, cash donations, golf and dinner fees, silent and live auctions, and a tin cup raffle.

Lazarus House and St. Charles Kiwanis want to thank everyone who donated items, sponsored, volunteered or attended.

Congratulations to the winning foursome - Todd Nelson, Chris Youngren, Dan Kelly and Steve Trybus.
