New model home opens at Arbor Lane

The Crofton model home awaits visitors at Arbor Lane, where phase two sales have begun in the new community of 16 luxury townhouses in Arlington Heights.

"The interest in Arbor Lane throughout phase one was very strong because there aren't many new-construction options in this area of Arlington Heights," said Brian Hoffman of Red Seal Homes.

"Also, these townhouses are designed to live like a single-family home with features such as eat-in kitchens, plenty of closet space and exterior storage. And they offer one big perk most single-family homes do not - they're maintenance-free."

Located on the southeast corner of Palatine Road and Windsor Drive, Arbor Lane offers four floor plans with two to three bedrooms, 2½ baths, attached two-car garage and private outdoor space.

Each townhouse comes standard with a partial brick facade, site-finished hardwood flooring throughout the main living areas, and modern kitchens with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and furniture-quality cabinetry.

All floor plans offer a second-floor laundry, powder room on the main level and lower-level flexible space that can be used as a den, home office or playroom.

The Crofton model is priced from $289,900 and features 1,725 square feet of living space, two master bedrooms, 2½ baths, a two-car garage and balcony.

This open floor plan features a neutral décor with a contemporary flair. Furnishings include a cream sofa and chairs, glass-topped coffee table and end table and an open display shelf for favorite pieces. White sheers keep the space light and airy.

In the dining area, a glass-topped table with chairs sits ready to serve guests. The kitchen features maple cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances with a lot of counter space. The sink overlooks the living area, which allows the cook to join in the conversation.

This design is shown with two master suites, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a tub and shower combination. Each features walk-in and wardrobe closets and a private bath with sink and large vanity.

The lower level flex space is outfitted with two comfortable chairs and a desk. Windows above ground allow in plenty of light.

The three other plans include The Ashton, priced from $304,900 with 1,702 square feet. It offers an end location with two master bedrooms. The Brunswick is base priced at $299,900. It has 1,719 square feet of space, three bedrooms and an optional den. The Dover is priced from $310,900 with 1,742 square feet, an end location and three bedrooms.

"The dual master suites are ideal for buyers with roommates or frequent house guests. Some single homebuyers will bring in a roommate to help offset the cost, and this floor plan is ideal for that," Hoffman said. "The homes with three bedrooms have been popular with families that are drawn to the area because of the fantastic schools."

Arbor Lane features a prime location near shopping and dining at the intersection of Arlington Heights and Rand roads. The community is a short drive from Arlington Lake Park and the downtown Metra station.

Residents enjoy the village's thriving downtown with an eclectic mix of restaurants and pubs, live theater performances, outdoor concerts and shopping at boutiques, specialty shops and galleries.

To visit the community, travel east on the frontage street along Palatine Road and turn right at the entrance just east of Windsor Drive.

Sales hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. For more information about Arbor Lane, call (847) 922-3707 or visit www.redsealhomes.com.
