Wanna be on 'The Biggest Loser'? Here's your chance

Four people from the suburbs have won NBC's "The Biggest Loser" weight loss competition show. Why not make it six?

Teams of two - spouses, siblings, parent-and-child, best friends or co-workers - who need to lose at least 80 pounds apiece are invited to audition for the next season of the show on Saturday in Bloomingdale.

The auditions will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at The Biggest Loser Resort, inside the Hilton Chicago-Indian Lakes Resort at 250 Schick Road.

Former contestants might be making appearances at the Bloomingdale casting call, the production company said.

Those unable to attend can apply online at nbc.com/casting or thebiggestlosercasting.com

Toma Dobrosavljevic, of Bloomingdale, won the competition last season and took home the $250,000 prize. He lost 171 pounds, dropping from 336 to 165 pounds.

Other past winners from the suburbs include Bartlett's Michael Ventrella, Wheeling's Danni Allen and Wheaton's Jerry Hayes, who won the at-home prize.

More than a dozen suburban residents have been contestants during the past 16 seasons.
