Art In The Park: 5th Annual Mundelein Fine Arts Festival Coming This Fall

Area residents and art-aficionados alike will once again flock to the 5th annual Mundelein Arts Festival, Saturday - Sunday, September 12 & 13 at Kracklauer Park (100 N. Seymour Avenue) from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

This popular juried festival will feature talented artists and craftspeople, plus live entertainment, goods eats and family fun. There will be a kids tent for young artists to create work of their own. Student artwork from Carmel Catholic and Mundelein High Schools will be on display. Scholarships will be awarded to help students pursue art careers after high school. Scholarship recipients will be determined by each school and the winners announced at 12:30 Sunday. This year scholarships are expected to total $2000.

The mission of the festival is to support the arts, provide scholarship money to deserving art students and bring attention to the town of Mundelein as an excellent place to live and visit.
